Young Aurora
About
project
The “Scholae Mundi" Charity Foundation supports educational initiatives not only in Russia, but also in Armenia. One of them is Young Aurora. Every year, school and college teams from United World Colleges and African Leadership Academy apply to participate in the competition of student projects aimed at resolving current social challenges for their local community, be it waste disposal or creating opportunities for education and socialization of youth in refugee camps. The winning team receives a cash prize for the further development of their project. Young Aurora started in 2017 as a partnership program of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, UWC International, Teach for All and the African Leadership Academy. Its purpose is to inspire students to seek creative, innovative and sustainable solutions to issues relevant in the communities where the schools are located.
"Scholae Mundi" Charity Foundation participates in holding the competition and provides a platform for student teams to present their ideas.
